Samajwadi Party's National President Akhilesh Yadav has strongly targeted the BJP regarding the recruitment of 69000 assistant teachers. The decision has come from the Lucknow bench of the High Court on the recruitment of 69000 assistant teachers. On this, Akhilesh said that the decision to recruit 69,000 assistant teachers is the result of loose lobbying by the BJP government, which is against the basic spirit of reservation. To kill the rights of Dalits and Backwards, BJP traps reservation in legislative illusion. Caste census is the right solution to this problem so that reservation can be done in proportion to the population.
Explain that on Monday, the Lucknow bench of the High Court has directed to revise the list related to the selection of assistant teachers released on June 1, 2020, in three months for non-compliance of the reservation quota in the assistant teacher recruitment process. Along with this, the court also rejected the selection list issued on January 5, 2022, of 6800 candidates in addition to the reserved category in order of recruitment examination. This select list was challenged stating that it was released without any advertisement.
On this, the bench has said that the limit of reservation should not exceed 50 percent of the total seats under any circumstances. Justice Om Prakash Shukla's bench noted in its order that apparently, there was no clarity on the scores and details of the reserved category candidates who appeared in ATRE 2019. The state officials also did not make any effort, also they do not have any records that would help in recruitment. The court said in its order that until the state authorities revise the selection list, the candidates already appointed in this case and currently working as assistant teachers in various districts in pursuance of ATRE 2019, will continue to hold their posts. But will continue to work.
